A customer looking for a replacement part needs to know whether it fits. I wrote copy for battery, tyre, motor and spare-parts categories, bringing model compatibility and product information into the page.
My contribution: collection-page copy, customer FAQs, metadata and internal links. The sample shows how I organise technical detail around a purchasing decision.

For a bakery owner, packaging has to protect the product, suit the brand and work at the right order volume. This article connects those concerns with box types, materials and supplier considerations.
My contribution: copywriting and editing for tone, clarity and flow, plus metadata and internal-link recommendations leading towards products, samples and a quote.

The Sleeping Beauty post draws on Tchaikovsky’s correspondence to introduce the music. The Mozart post opens with the unfinished Requiem’s mystery, then moves to the performers and streaming link.

At the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, I wrote audience copy for concerts and streaming releases. The challenge was to give someone a reason to listen, whether they knew the work well or were encountering it for the first time.
In the Mahler 5 example, the opening follows the sound of the music. The Britten’s War Requiem concert copy takes a different approach, drawing on the work’s history and emotional weight.

A listener should be able to read a program note in the few minutes before a performance and hear something new because of it. My notes connect musical detail with the people, history and ideas behind the work.
Examples include Ethel Smyth’s The Wreckers, Weinberg’s Trumpet Concerto and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10. This is where my training in music and historical research becomes writing for a public audience.

Concert programs bring several kinds of writing into one publication: artist biographies, repertoire details, program notes and practical information. I worked on 32 concert programs at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, with writing, editing and proofreading responsibilities.
